For thousands of years, people in coastal areas have collected seaweed for various purposes — among them as nutrition and fertilizer for plants and crops, since seaweed is naturally rich in important minerals and micro-organisms.
Algae are the original and most important producers of marine organic matter. And since the seaweed we harvest grows in cold, clean seawater, it contains — in addition to the nutrients found in land-based plants — essential trace elements such as iodine, potassium, magnesium, manganese, and titanium, in a composition and concentration that terrestrial organic material cannot match.
Seaweed contains more than 66 active substances and components, all offering various minerals, trace elements, nutrients, natural plant hormones, micro-organisms, unique bacterial flora, amino acids, polysaccharides, vitamins, and antioxidants — beneficial for virtually all kinds of plants and crops.
And alternatives to today’s so-called organic or ecological plant nutrients are needed!

The nutrient solution is produced entirely from desalinated brown algae gathered along the rocky shores of the North Sea coast.
We primarily use Saw Wrack (Fucus serratus), and only seaweed that the ocean itself has harvested for us during days of strong winds.
Both the mineral content and the effects can be compared to, for example, chicken manure.
We operate from Getterön, just outside Varberg on the Swedish west coast.
Our core idea is to extract and deliver environmentally responsible products from the marine environment around us.
Today, our main focus is on plant nutrient solutions entirely based on algae and seaweed.
